Editorial policy
Active Beauty Journal aims to make beauty coverage clear, fair and useful. We separate explanation from opinion, avoid promising outcomes and correct material errors when we become aware of them.
Accuracy and care
We check wording, product details and other factual claims against suitable information available to us before publication. Beauty language can be vague, so we distinguish a stated product feature from a claim about what it will do. Our articles offer general editorial information, not medical advice; readers should not use them to diagnose or manage a health concern.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader relevance and clarity. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage, a favourable view or a particular conclusion. We aim to describe limitations and trade-offs as well as potential uses.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail in question. We review reports and correct confirmed errors, making the change clear when the substance of a published article has changed.
Partners and illustrations
Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is identified clearly near the relevant content. Partner placements are labelled and kept distinct from editorial recommendations. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are identified as illustrations and are not presented as photographs of real products, people or events.
Good beauty habits fit real days.
A routine need not take over the morning to feel considered. We focus on choices that leave room for work, movement and everything in between.
